Anhor links don't work anymore

Hey,

I’ve noticed that the anchorlinks don’t work anymore- it will always jump to /top-of-the-page instead of /top-of-the-page/#paragraph (or /top-of-the-page#paragraph)

It used to work like charme. What’s the problem now?

Hey Moritz,

It looks like there is a script that does this. We first like to know if this is caused by the parent theme itself so we could report if this is a bug. With that said, please switch to the parent theme and check if the issue persists. If you also have custom scripts in Global JS, please temporarily remove them and also check if the issue persists after.

Thanks, I’ve deactivated all custom global scripts- it didn’t help. I can’t change the overall theme, on this site. What can I do? I don’t see what’s the issue , it used to work fine. please help me out.

Hey @elxdesign2016,

Since the issue is in your child theme, one of your custom codes in there is the one causing the issue. Please try removing custom functions one by one to check which one is causing the issue.
