Anchors don't work with X activated

Hello there,

i tried to add some anchors to a page.

• I tried to insert it with HTML:
  <a id="leitung"></a><h7>Leitung</h7>
• I tried it to insert the id in the Inspector of the Headline-Element

If i click a link like: <a href="#leitung"><h7>Leitung</h7></a> the URL is changed but it doesn’t jump to the anchor. Pressing F5 reloads the page at the anchor. If i deactivate X and use twenty seventeen it works directly.

Hi Dos81,

What we can recommend is either:
1.) Update the X Theme to the latest version
2.) If you preferred the old X theme and accidentally update the Cornerstone plugin, you should delete the Cornerstone plugin and re-install it through Admin > X > Validation (the notification area)

Here is a helpful link on how to update.

I suggest that you use a staging area to do the testing and once it is confirmed and done, apply the changes to the live site.
