Anchor links to other pages not clickable

Hi,
I’ve just launched a new site for my client, but on the homepage a grid of 4 images with links are supposed to each take the visitor to a specific anchor tag on a different page. The links themselves work, if you type them into the browser bar. But using these links in the images, they just won’t work. In chrome you can see the correct link appears in the bottom left as you hover over each image, but clicking it does nothing.

If I use any other link for the image, it works just fine - but won’t accept links with anchor tags!

And the intended anchor link is to this portion of the homeowners page; http://www.technicaldetail.co.uk/homeowner/#stage1

The image entitled “IDEA” on the homepage is currently set to link here, but it won’t work. The other images in the grid, I have set to link to the page http://www.technicaldetail.co.uk/homeowner without an anchor tag, and it works fine.

It’s as if something is preventing the link from being clickable as soon as the anchor tag is present.

Any assistance you can provide would be much appreciated.

Thanks for writing in!

I have tested the page and I can confirm the issue. We have check it over our local testing servers and we could not replicate it. This issue is unique to the first image only. Could you please provide us access to your site so that we can edit the page and check your settings?

Meanwhile, please make sure that there are no custom JS or 3rd party plugin that may have been causing this issue. You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Thanks guys - plugin conflict was a good call, it was actually a responsive tabs plugin (ironically named Responsive Tabs for Cornerstone) that broke the off page anchor links!
