Anchor links only working once on a page?

Hi,
I’ve noticed odd behaviour on my site, that the anchor links on a page only work once.

i.e. if you press a button, it will scroll down to the correct anchor section. But if you manually scroll back up and press the link again it no longer works.

As it’s a link to a contact form on the page, I fear it could mean we miss some enquiries. There’s a few ‘contact us’ buttons on the page that point to the same section.

I’m sure it normally works ok.

I’ve tried running in incognito mode too, incase simply being logged into Wordpress was causing an issue.

I have checked it in my local environment and it worked perfectly fine. There might be some different reasons behind your issue, I would like to suggest troubleshooting the following common issue to help us to recognize the reason.

1.Theme Related Issue
2.Plugin Conflict
3.Theme Update related issue
4.Child Theme Related issue
5.CSS/JS Customization

If you discover that an issue is coming from a custom code or 3rd party plugin, kindly consult with a developer or contact the plugin author. Please note that we do not provide support for custom codes and 3rd party plugins.
If none of the above help, please create a separate thread and please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

Thanks, ok I’ll go through the troubleshooting steps.

I’ve just checked on a different system, different browser and the problem persists. The buttons to the anchor only work once.

Can you please remove the effects that you have added in the Column element settings where you have inserted the button?

If this does not help, please provide us access to your site so we can investigate further. You can create a secure note in your next reply with the following info:
