Anchor Links not working on X Pro

Hello,

I’ve been using X PRO for the last 3-4 years with mostly the same setup (same pages, sections etc.) but after the last update my anchor links aren’t working anymore. Can you please advise?

Hi @sergiuirimescu,

I’ve checked your site and it looks like you added Global Javacsript but also included <script> tags in the code. These aren’t needed and can cause HTML validation to fail, and also prevent other scripts on the page from running. I think this is why the navigation isn’t working because it relies on Javascript. Try removing those script tags and clearing any caches you have active. Let us know if that gets it working again!

Hello, I’ve removed the tags in the Global JS but it didn’t make it work. The anchor links are still stuck.

I checked your given page URL it seems that the section is not there on the page that you have linked.

Your linked button liked are #x-section-2, #x-section-5, #x-section-4, #x-section-8, #x-section-9
Please have a look at the given screenshot below.

I went ahead and tried to find the respective section ID on this page but unfortunately, these ids were not there in the section since the section ID is different which is why it is not working for you.

Please have a look at the section ID source code screenshot. Please make the same ID that you have liked on the button.
