Hello! I am streamlining my Google Analytics e-commerce reporting. I am getting an “Add to Cart” event on all my products, except for one. I’m sure it’s the way I have it set up!
This product doesn’t require a visit to the product page, and we’d like to keep it that way. Instead, I’m using another page https://capsaviation.com/course/ to describe the course. There’s an Add to Cart Button that links to this URL: ?add-to-cart={{dc:woocommerce:product_id}}
I also tried removing the looper consumer/provider and dynamic content. Still no Add to Cart event being tracked.
Is there a way I can make this show up as an Add to Cart “hit” in Google Analytics? Either by setting this up differently, or adding something to the trigger on the GA side? (I’m not very good at GA, so please explain like I’m a child.)
Here’s the custom triggers on my tag, if that helps:
view_item|view_item_list|select_item|add_to_cart|remove_from_cart|view_cart|begin_checkout|add_payment_info|add_shipping_info|purchase
Thanks!
