I am receiving the following message in WP dashboard: An automated WordPress update has failed to complete! Please notify the site administrator. As a managed hosting program I cannot manually update WP. Please advise.

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in.

It’s your hosting provider’s restriction and automatic updates for Wordpress core is disabled intentionally. You host is probably doing their own updates manually for fixes and integration since it’s Managed Wordpress hosting.

You should contact your hosting provider but I doubt they will update it since it’s part of their existing system. Updating it without testing may break their system and other existing sites.
