Ampersand symbol in Essential Grid Drop Down filter

I’m using Essential Grid included in Pro Theme.
There is a problem in displaying the ampersand symbol when filters are in drop down mode, if the category name has the ampersand symbol in it (for example ‘Apples & Oranges’). Is is displayed as ( & amp ; )
I’ve already posted a question in their message list in Envato and they responded that there is no problem. (Page 332 on the messages list)

The problem appears when you have made a selection with a filter with a ampersand
This page is a fine example.

and then try to select a category with an ampersand.

I forgot to say that of course the page must be viewed in a tablet (or in chrome mobile simulation mode) in order for the filters to go from inline to drop-down.

Hi,

I tried on my test site and was able to replicate this issue. I then tried activating the default wordpress theme(twentyseventeen) and the issue persist.

It looks like a bug with essential grid plugin. I will forward this issue to plugin developer for review.
