AMP Plugin + Yoast glue + Pro = No AMP Pages

Hey Support

Can you point me in the right direction here?

I have AMP, Yoast, and Yoast glue installed but no AMP pages are being generated.
I’ve checked Google console and it advises me to create AMP pages of my site.

It has worked in the past on the X-theme. Now if I check any of my pages for example www.mydomian.com/amp it throws up a 404 error.

I’m running all the latest versions of Wordpress, Pro theme and Plugins.

My site is www.redkiteseo.co.uk

Thanks in advance

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in.

I checked your site and can’t find any issue or clue what’s the issue. Would you mind providing your admin login credentials in a secure note? And it looks like a paid plugin so I can’t verify the issue in my install.

Thanks!

Hi @iam

I’ve attached a secure note

Thanks in advance

Hi there,

Can’t find what’s causing this, but I noticed that every page added with /amp/ redirect to itself. Is it okay if I disable the plugins and switch to another theme? This way, I can narrow the search but I think this isn’t theme related since our theme has no redirect. Please back your site or clone your site to staging in case I messed up your installation.

Though, I can’t promise any solution if I confirmed that this isn’t theme related.

Thanks!

Hi @iam

Thanks for looking into this problem for me. Interesting, if it’s not theme related that’s good news. It sounds like some plugin conflict as I’m using Yoast premium I’ll contact their support as that’s what manages any redirects on my site.

Thanks again
