Hi,
We are in the process of migrating a website form an old WP template to Theme X. We have just realized there is an issue to integrate the theme’s header, footer and color scheme into the aMember pages.

Here is the feedback frrom aMember:
There could be issues with some visually edited themes.
aMember try to include wordpress header.php and footer.php and in this case it seems that header and footer are build different way.

How this issue can be handled?

I haven’t used aMember plugin. So it’s a bit difficult for me to comment on the issues that you are facing. Can you please share website URL and the membership page URL so we can take a closer look?

X Theme uses the standard WordPress development guidelines and in that regards most of the plugins in WordPress ecosystem are automatically compatible with our Theme. The issue that you are mentioning for that I need to take a look at the website. I can’t guarantee a solution as the issue involves a 3rd party plugin, but I will try my level best to guide you in right direction.

Thanks for updating the thread.

I checked the website and it seems that the plugin is overriding files and has its own page layout structure. Regretfully as the plugin has its own set of layout, providing support for the same falls outside the scope of support we offer. Either you can mimic the layout using some CSS code on membership page or get in touch with a developer to assist you with the customizations as it will require some custom development work.

I understand that some development would be required to get a seamless integration.

Would you be against working with aMember in order to build a seamless integration for the benefit of the Theme X community?

We certainly appreciate the feedback! This is something we can add to our list of supported plugins. This way it can be taken into consideration for future development. All of these items are discussed with our team internally and prioritized based on the amount of interest a particular feature might receive.
