Alternative text for images

Should alternative text be added in the media library for the images or inside the image element in Cornerstone on a page? Do I need to do both? Thanks for clarifying.

Thanks for writing in!

If you are editing the page/post using Cornerstone then I would suggest you to use the ALT tag feature offered in image element of Cornerstone.
