Alternate Index Title is H1?

I would like to know if the “Alternate Index Title” is an H1 (not seen as an H1 but counting for an H1 for Google etc.)

I’ve checked this for you and I can see it’s <h2> tag that we render for “Alternate Index Title” option.

Thanks for asking again!

The website title itself is H1 tag, if you will make the alternative page title H1, it would be two H1 in a single page.
Which is also again bad for SEO.

If you check the logo and website title you will see this is also in H1 title.
if you are using pro header builder for your header you can also assign a H1 tag for page title instead of this alternative page title.
