I am working on a a site called www.shaneannyounts.com. Using revslider for banner images
I followed forum advice to add image as layer and not background image. It has the right alt tag but is still not showing up in testing.

I checked your website, I found that the Revolution Slider convert the image layer into the Background image but Img tag is Still Available for SEO Goals in Source code.
Please have a look at the screenshot given below.

If you take a look at the site from the Rankmath SEO tool it shows them as missing

To include image alt tag attribute in an image layer or background image, please follow this guide https://www.themepunch.com/faq/how-to-include-image-alt-tag-attribute/
If you follow this correctly then alt tag should be available in SEO tools as well. Let us know how this goes!
