Allow Essential Grid to use Custom Foobox

Is it possible for Essential Grid to use a different lightbox (Foobox Pro in this case) when using the lightbox with an iframe setup? I see in the global options in Essential Grid, there’s a lightbox section with a dropdown, giving you the choice of using their own light box, or using a third party lightbox. When I choose third party, the Foobox, lightbox I prefer doesn’t open the iframe (the bookshelf at the bottom of the page) at https://www.emilycolin.com/about/. Foobox’s lightbox has so many more options (social sharing, custom sizing, captions and descriptions, etc.) than Essential Grid’s fancybox.

I’ve created a duplicate demo, just using HTML and CSS at https://www.emilycolin.com/test/ for how I’d like EG’s lightbox to behave. It (fancybox) takes over the entire screen, whereas I can control a lot more with FB’s lightbox.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. If you’d like a login to my sight to take a look at the settings, just let me know and I’ll provide those.

Thanks,

Neil

Hello Neil,

Thanks for writing in! Regretfully FooBox may not support the Essential Grid plugin. Please contact the creators of Foobox for further assistance instead. They should be able to give you an idea if it’s possible to use the plugin with the Essential Grid.

Best Regards.
