All Taxonomies are gone in Appearance/Sidebars

Since the recent update in Wordpress to 5.9.3 the Category Sidebars have disappeared. In Appearance/Sidebars under All Taxonomies there is nothing there.
The sidebars are gone that were there on the category archive pages.

I have several sites all built in a similar way and they are not having this problem.
I’ve checked for plugin conflicts and updated the PHP to 7.8.

Here is an example of a sidebar that used to have a widget menu and is now blank:

The sidebars are ok on posts but no longer on the category pages.

Thanks for reaching out.
I investigate the Widget and found that the category page is showing the Main Widget area which does not have any widget added to it. I went ahead and added the Navigation Menu widget and now it is showing on the page.

Thank you for your reply and I see how the Main Sidebar will work.
However, I want to control the sidebar using taxonomies which are not showing up now.
Here’s a snapshot of michelgoldbergart.com with NO Taxonomies:

And here is a similar site where I am able to assign specific sidebars to categories WITH taxonomies:

I’ve experienced the disappearing taxonomies before, and it was solved but I don’t know how to solve this now.

It seems that there are some different reasons behind your issue, I would like to suggest troubleshooting the following common issue to help us to recognize the reason.

1.Theme Related Issue
2.Plugin Conflict
3.Theme Update related issue
4.Child Theme Related issue
5.CSS/JS Customization
6.Disabling Cache
7.Disabling CDN

If you discover that an issue is coming from a custom code or 3rd party plugin, kindly consult with a developer or contact the plugin author. Please note that we do not provide support for custom codes and 3rd party plugins.
If that does not help, please copy your live site to a staging server so we could troubleshoot freely without breaking your live site.
