All posts are showing to the blog page 1

Hi there,

I hope this email finds you well.

I have assigned seven posts to each blog page, however, all of the posts are showing to the first blog page only. Please find the link below for your reference.

Can you please help me out with this issue as soon as possible?

Looking forward to your reply.

Thank you.

Hi @peterguirguisccsb,

Thanks for reaching out.
It seems that almost 141 posts are showing in the first page of the blog whereas the 7 posts are showing second page onwards. There might be some different reason behind your reason, I would like to suggest troubleshoot the following common issue to help us to recognize the reason.

1.Plugin Conflict
2.Theme Update related issue
3.Child Theme Related issue
4.CSS/JS Customization
5.Disabling Cache
6.Disabling CDN

If you discover that an issue is coming from a custom code or 3rd party plugin, kindly consult with a developer or contact the plugin author. Please note that we do not provide support for custom codes and 3rd party plugins.
If that does not helps, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

It has been found that X theme is using the version 8.2.1 and the Cornerstone using the version 5.2.1. Please note that a we have already released another version of the theme with some fixes, I would recommend you to update your theme to the latest one.
I would also suggest you follow the below steps while updating to the latest version of the theme.

  1. Delete the existing Cornerstone plugin
  2. Update the X theme to the latest version on automatic updates
  3. After the X theme is updated, use the link in the dashboard to automatically install the Cornerstone. It will be at the latest version

NOTE: I have also found the DIVI Builder installed, I would suggest you to uninstall it if not in use.

Thanks

Hi there,

Thank you for your reply.

I have done all of the points that you have mentioned in the previous email, however, the issue is still showing on the website. Should I create a staging site and give access to you to resolve the issue?

Please let me know when as soon as possible.

Looking forward to your reply.

Thank you.

Hi @peterguirguisccsb,

Thanks for the update! Yes, unfortunately if the troubleshooting steps above were unsuccessful we’ll need to take a closer look. A staging environment would be helpful. Whenever we can login to either the staging or production site please add credentials to a secure note and we’ll check things out.

Hi there,

Thank you for your reply.

I have created a staging site for you to resolve this issue. The license key is activated to the main site, however, the license key is showing not activated to the staging site . I have added the login credential to the secure note to this email. Please find the login and let me know what is the actual issue of the blog page.

blog page URL: http://staging17.staging.craighuey.com/blog/

Please have a look and let me know as soon as possible.

Looking forward to your reply.

Thank you

Hello @peterguirguisccsb,

This issue is unique to your installation only. It is also not related to a theme. It could come from your WordPress installation because I have switched to the Twenty Seventeen theme and deactivated all the plugins. All the posts are still being displayed on your homepage. I even created and assign a new blog page and the issue still exists. There could be a broken setting from a previously installed theme or plugin that is causing this issue.

Best Regards.
