All Images have disappeared

Hi,

All the images on our website have disappeared.

The only things I did was to upgrade X theme and add W3 Total Cache Plugin. If I disable the plugin, the images are still disappeared.

They are visible if I am logged in and on cornerstone.

Any help?

Thanks,

Tom

Hey Tom and Guido,

Do you happen to have Smush Lazy Loading active on your sites?

If so, try disabling the plugin or clearing your browser cache just like the users in this thread:

Let us know how it goes.

Hello,

I am experiencing the same issue on one domain. All classic image element images are not appearing on the front end. When I load the pro editor they are there, but grayed out. The same seems to be happening with classic gap elements. I have flushed server cache, firewall/CDN cache, Pro cache, and the issue is still persisting.

I just saw the reply about smush lazy loading. I will try disabling that and see if it helps.

Best,

Matt

Hello Matt,

If you have installed a caching plugin Hummingbird Cache, please clear your plugin cache before testing your site. This can cause the changes to not take place on the front end. It will eventually show up when the cache regenerates, but it’s not ideal if you’re looking to see your changes immediately.

You may also try a plugin conflict test. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Please let us know how it goes.

Disabling smush fixed the “no images” issue for me. Then it displayed fine when logged on, but not for general public. Had to further clear caches to resolve issue.

Glad to hear it’s sorted, Stuart.

Legends.

Disabling the Lazy Load and Clearing Caches sorted it.

Glad you’re all sorted now, Tom. Thanks for reaching out and have a great day!
