All icons broken after latest X-THEME update

Hi guys,

since the latest update, all icons on my site have broken. The scroll back up page icon, icons on other areas of my site, and the hamburger menu for mobile.

Please help.

Hi @nickvonb,

Thank you for writing to us.

You have updated the X theme to the latest version i.e 7.2.3, but Cornerstone is still in older version i.e 4.0.4.
Please update Cornerstone to the latest version i.e 4.2.3.
You can easily update the Cornerstone by deactivating and deleting it, then follow the prompt to re-install Cornerstone on your dashboard, which should reinstall the latest Cornerstone since you already have the latest X.

To update please go through this article.

Remember to clear all your server-side & browser’s cache after updating so that the update code is always in use.

I have updated cornerstone - and some icons are back - but the actual corner stone icon elements are missing.

For the current issue we need to thoroughly examine your site, hope you will not mind sharing your site credentials in Secure Note.

please provide the details of your site in a secure note, including:

– Link to your site
– Specific page URL
– WordPress Admin username / password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

I found that the cache has not cleared properly and even after updating the plugin, it shows the older version in few pages.

This might be the reason behind the issue you are facing currently.
If you find the same issue after clearing the cache of all pages, please let us know what icons are missing.
It will be a great help if any screenshot or videos can be provided from your end.

I have cleared cache - and I am still missing two ‘arrow’ icons on the home page.

Hi @nickvonb,

We found that the Graphic Setup is Off for those buttons you mentioned.
To get the icon(s), you need to set that On and select the desired icon for the specific buttons.
