All Font Awesome icons showing up as hollow squares in Safari [Private Browsing], Chrome, Firefox

I have read through every post here that addresses this issue but have not seen any real remedy.
Font Awesome icons look fine in Safari but not Safari [Private Browsing], Firefox or Chrome.

Please look at www.teachlove.earth in Safari [Private Browsing], Chrome and Firefox.

The top menu dropdown arrows as well as the social icons at the bottom appear like this…

CHROME

FIREFOX - small code inside the squares

SAFARI [PRIVATE BROWSING]

SAFARI - looks like it should

Can you help?

Thanks-
Mike

Also has the boxes on Safari on iPad, not private browsing.

FYI- I am serving the site through Sucuri WAF which limits IP addresses. Is there an IP address I need to whitelist for FontAwesome?

Hi Mike,

Thanks for writing in! Upon checking your site URL, I see that you have enabled coming soon mode. If you can disable it temporarily, we can check your issue further.

Font-awesome library has been updated within one of the recent updates, so you need to make sure that you’re using the latest X/Pro theme and latest X compatible Cornerstone plugin on your site. Please refer to our changelog here () and update your site accordingly.

Once you update your site, you also need to purge full cache including server cache and browser cache before testing.

Thanks!

OK, Coming Soon is turned off.

I have latest X Pro. I do not update Cornerstone separately. Doesn’t updating the theme take care of that?

Mine’s also broken on all sites. I’m always current.

This is what the developer console in Safari is saying…

Hi There,

Thanks for writing in!

Look like the font files are blocked by your server.
HTTP 403 is a standard HTTP status code communicated to clients by an HTTP server to indicate that the server understood the request, but will not fulfill it.
Please contact your server provider to check it. They only can help you on this.

Thanks

Yup. My bad. I hadn’t added the font types to be allowed through my content restriction in my wp-content folder.

Glad it’s working now.
