All body copy on our site is now bold

For some unexplained reason, all of the body copy on our site is now bold. Sample page: (https://culturewise.com/hpc-summit/)

Moreover, if I make any changes to fonts (size/weight/etc.) in the customizer, none of those are reflected on the site. It’s like something is mysteriously overriding everything.

The screenshot below show how the font is formatted in the page editing menu. The second screeen shot is how it actually looks in a browser:

Hi @AdmanCEO,

Thanks for reaching out!

There could some broken HTML code <strong></strong> in the page that making all the body copy transform into bold. I suggest that you review the page content.

Hope that helps.

Thank you.

It’s happening site-wide, not just on a single page. And, it happened all of a sudden. What would cause that?

If I provide access to the site, can someone take a look?

Hi @AdmanCEO,

It seems that some Broken HTML are added into the Theme Options > Header > Topbar Content. Assuming that the <strong> tag missing the closing </strong> tag. I would suggest you check and rectify that to get rid of this issue.

If that is not the case, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password
