Align menu to right with header template 23

Hi.

I’m using the header template 23 for a site. As standard the menu is aligning between the logo (23) and the button. But I want the menu aligning to the right – so there’s a bigger gap between the logo and the menu. All I’ve done beside the standard settings is changing the logo and text and color for the button.

But I can’t find out how to acchieve that. Could you please direct me to the settings needed. Please look at the attached screenshot for how it looks.

Thanks for reaching out.

The solution for that is just combining the menu and buttons into one container. Having multiple container will automatically divide the header bar into equal widths(unless specified but restricting). Thanks for your quick reply – and your video!

But I’m still struggling a bit. The menu and button still seems to fill out the width. Please take a look at the attached screenshot. I would like the menu items closer together and aligning to the right. So there’s a gap between the logo and the menu.

I your video it seems to work just like that. I’m quite sure I haven’t made any changes to the settings after importing the template. Have you any idea what needs to be changed in the settings?

Hi Christian,

I think it’s due to screen width you’re testing versus the length of the menu + button + logo. It fits altogether that alignment is no more noticeable. The space you’re seeing in between the menu and button compared to space between the logo and menu is due to menu spacing itself. Could you try configuring your menu and make sure menu items spacing (padding and margin) are minimized? You could also try removing some menu items just for testing.

Yes, you were right. It was due to the menu spacing. I have now made it look like I want it to.
