Align items in custom footer side by side

side by side?

Hello Rena,

Thanks for writing in! Please edit your footer and set the flex layout of your navigation inline should be as “Row” and the flex layout of the icons is “Column”. If this does not help, please provide us access so that we can check your footer settings.

Sorry about that I have fixed it.

While you are there can I ask you about another issue? As you can see in the attached image. I have a huge gap issue and I don’t know how to solve it.

Hi Rena,

You mean side-by-side just for the icons like this?

The flex layout applies to each element and since the icons are different entities, they will not align as a group. I recommend adding those social icons as Global block (please check this https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/global-blocks/24723)

Then add the global block element within your footer just under the inline menu.

But make sure you align your icons within the global block builder.

As for the spacing, please inspect your second section and set the padding and margin to zero. Or at least smaller value.

Ok thanks for the help, I just skipped out on social all together.

As for the space I set the position to relative instead of absolute, for anyone else having the issue.
