Ajax error: Could not fetch youtube

I am getting the “Ajax Error: Could not fetch youutbe playlists.” I am running version essential grid 2.3.1 with no updates available and wordpress 5.0.3. I have regenerated and recreated the youtube api key, ensured the channel id is correct, disabled all plugins and custom coding and still have not been able to correct the issue. Can you please advise.
