Agency - script timing classic blocks + images

Hi,

Built a site with Agency as starting point building one page setup with two separate “scrolls”

Problem 1: Using classic element with 4 columns these do not slide up simultaneously on page scroll (vertical scroll). The 4th, or rightmost shows up first, while the other 3 comes when scrolling further.

I’ve tried to clone or copy, as well as set up anew. Result is the same.

Where is this controlled?

Problem 2. Classic element image slides up a bit too late on scrolling page. The effect is that on bigger screens you see content and no image until you scroll.

Where is the image appearance control based on scrolling?

Hi Knut,

On Classic element, there is less option to configure. This fade effect settings is available on Columns. You can see it when you inspect columns:

It is just on and off. There is no option to configure any other settings especially the timing.

Problem 1. This is because above option ENABLE FADE EFFECT is ON on the first 3 columns. On the fourth columns it is OFF.

Problem 2 I don’t see classic image element on home page. Note as stated, it is only fade effect is enabled on columns and there’s no option to customize the animation.

Hi Knut,

I can see you have withdraw your reply. Do let us know if you still need help. Thanks.

I figured out how to do it

but on the images it would be cool to manipulate trigger point, e.g. scrolling rather than just on/off.

Hi Knut,

Glad to hear you got it sorted. The trigger point option is something we can add to our feature request list so that it will be considered in future development.

Thank you.

Thanks for the help.

I also would like you to add fade function to correspond with number of columns chosen.

Hi Knut,

Sorry, I am not exactly sure what you mean by that.
The fade effect can be set in your column element so it corresponds to the number of columns.
Can you provide more details.

Thanks

Hi Paul

Been away, this late reply. I have used four columns. This meant one was stationary, the other 3 faded in when scrolling. Using fade some of the elements showed up late while scrolling down. I also wanted to be able to control the point at which objects make appearance, vs the scrolling. Or the axis if you like. I anticipate this must be controlled by a js file somewhere?

Hi Knut,

Thank you for the clarification. Unfortunately, we don’t support customization of this function. This might have adverse effect on other functionalities of the theme. Since this was already added as feature request, we do suggest for you to use a plugin to achieve this at the moment. Essential Grid has this options as you like and this is bundled with the theme. Hope this helps.
