After XTheme update, the plugin 'Super Store Finder' isn't displaying correctly

Hi, I’ve updated XTheme on my website that was using the plugin Super Store Finder to show local colleges that people could search for. This was all working fine until I did the update for XTheme!

It’s now showing the shortcode on the page [SUPER-STORE-FINDER] and the college search with the map that should be where the shortcode is, has moved to the bottom of the page and there’s code displaying above it! I’ve tried to correct this myself with CSS and I can hide the shortcode, but I can’t change the position of the map and I can’t get rid of the code above it either. I hope you can help!

Thanks!

Hi @core365,

Thanks for reaching out.
This is an ongoing issue with the Plugin and that has been already reported to the Plugin Author by other customers, please find the following thread on this.

Thanks

Hi @tristup,

Thanks for the links to the other posts. Is there any way of sorting it out with CSS as it still works, it’s just the shortcode is displaying, which I can hide with CSS, but it’s the code that’s showing above the college search with map and it’s also in the wrong position on the page, it needs to be moved to where the shortcode is. Is there any way of achieving this?

Thanks!

Hi @core365,

Yes, this can be done with custom CSS code but providing custom CSS is outside the scope of our theme support because the issue has something to do with the 3rd party plugin. You may seek 3rd party developers to help you with your problems or you can avail One where we can answer questions outside of the features of our theme.

Thank you for understanding.

Hi @marc_a,

Ok, thanks for letting me know!

Thanks

Hi @core365,

You’re welcome! If you have any other concerns or clarifications regarding our theme features, feel free to open up a new thread.

Thank you.

Hi @marc_a,

I’d just like to check, if I go for your One service, can you guarantee the issue will be fixed? I’m just a bit wary of paying out for a service that might leave me in the same position as I am in now, I hope you can understand my concerns!

Thanks

Hi @core365,

We understand your concern but we can’t guarantee the fix. The One is the service where we answer the question that is beyond the scope of Theme Support and i.e. checking the 3rd Party plugin issue or custom coding issues and can suggest you the further steps related to this.

Thanks for understanding

Hi @tristup,

@marc_a said it can be done with custom CSS code, so if I pay for your One service and you’re unable to resolve it, would I be able to get a refund, as I’d then need to pay out for a developer to get it sorted!

Thanks!

Hi @core365,

Yes, we can remove the [SUPER-STORE-FINDER] shortcode and shortcode above the maps using CSS. We can also move up the maps from the button to be a place where the text [SUPER-STORE-FINDER] with the combination of CSS and JS and we can help you with that customization in our One service.

Hope that helps.

Hi @marc_a,

Many thanks for confirming that! That would be great, I’ll subscribe to the One service tomorrow!

Thanks again!

Hey @core365,

Great! Looking forward to your subscription in One.

Thank you.
