After upgrading Pro theme and revolution slider to the newest provided updates all icons in sliders are missing on frontend. even the default navigation arrows build in the slider are not showing. In the slide editor everything’s showing just fine. It’s the same across all my sites.

Hey Daniel,

We need to check if this is really an issue with Slider Revolution or caused by third party plugins. Kindly clear all caches in WP Rocket and disable it. Also do that for the Borlabs plugin. If that doesn’t work, disable all other plugins then test again.

If none of those work, kindly copy your live site to a staging server and provide the following details in a Secure Note.

  • Staging WordPress Login URL
  • Admin level username and password

You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts.

Thanks.

I’m having the same issue. Tried clearing server cache, resetting the arrows, swapping arrows, inserting CSS to load the arrows, turning off all plugins other than Revolution Slider… Nothing seems to be working.

Right after putting the post above I found a setting in Global Settings > Fonts > Font Loading and Caching. This was set to Disabled. I set it to Load From Google and that did the trick for me.

It has nothing to do with WP Rocket or Borlabs. The post from 3HExapaT did the trick. But for people from Europe I don’t think it’s safe in regards to GDPR to have google fonts loading. So I’ve tried the setting to locally save fonts and it’s also showing the arrows again. So thank you!

But something must have changed in the recent update from Revolution Slider because I have and had this setting off (because of GDPR) on other WP installs and the icons where showing… maybe I will ask Revolution Slider about this.

Thank you all.

Awesome! Glad this helped.
