After update assigning headers wont work

After updating to newest version of pro from a much older one - all of our existing pages carried over their old assigned headers perfectly. But when we make a new page the only thing we can assign to it are global headers. If it isn’t a global header it only shows the default navbar. New headers won’t assign to old pages or new pages. This doesn’t seem to be a matter of priority, as we’ve tried disabling every possible conflict and again, the new header wont show, it will just show the default navbar.

I’ve seen a few posts confirming this might be a bug, but if there’s anything we’re missing or a hotfix we can do for now that would be awesome!

Also we have tried disabling all the plugins but even when all of them are turned off the issue persists. We don’t have any caching plugins, and I didn’t try reaching out to our host about caching, but so far that fix didn’t seem to work for others. Am open to look into this further though

Just tried clearing cornerstone style cache, and made sure there was no custom css messing with anything too
