After All Updates of Site - Getting 404 File Not Found Error on all Pages but Home Page

I have a podcast site straitgateradio.com. I had a partner in it, but he died in January, and it stopped me cold until now. When I went back into the site, I had to update WordPress, the X theme, Cornerstone, and about 5 plugins. After doing this, all pages but the Home page throw a 404 “File Not Found” error. I can’t even view the pages from each page’s edit page, or with Cornerstone… I get the 40 error on everything but the Home page - which works fine. Opening the pages in text edit prove’s they’re all still intact. I can’t figure out what the problem is. All page names are the same as they were before. I did make the site an SSL site last year, but if I remember right, it was OK after that.

Can you help please?

Hi There,

Please reset your htaccess file by renaming it to .htaccess-bak. Then in WP Admin Menu, go to Settings > Permalinks and just click the Save Changes button.

If it still doesn’t work, you should contact to your hosting provider to check the Rewrite Rule is disabled or NOT.

Let us know how it goes!

Eureka! It worked perfectly. All problems resolved. Whew! I was expecting hours and hours of rework to fix the site. My best to all the staff. You guys are GREAT!

THANK YOU Thai.

Glad we were able to help
