Advice - hover over Renew

Hi,

Just wondering if you can point me in the right direction on how you created this page with the hover overs on the images:

Also i would like to do this where the image is literally against the edge of the browser and then text in the other half. How did you get the image to do this?

Thanks for writing in!

  1. That feature is specifically made for renew stack. Adding that feature to another stack could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.

  2. You can achieve that by selecting a No Container template under page attributes when creating your page.

Then turn off column container of your row element.

Thanks for that. I am running the renew theme. Can you tell me how you did the hover over on the page that i sent you where the white square with text slides over?

Hi there,

That effect is only available if you set the page template to Portfolio:

That way you can see the functionality. It is not possible to use this option in other page templates and to do so you will need to write your own Custom Javascript and CSS code.
