Advanced set up tick box missing from a site I am helping with

The tick box that allows you to set up an upper and lower background layer is missing from my husbands Xtheme backend. He cannot deal with the support here so your gonna have to somehow let me know the steps to fix this

Hi There,

Thank you for writing in, please open your page in Cornerstone and then enable the Advance Mode, save and refresh the page (see the following screenshot).

If you don’t see that option in there, please navigate to your admin dashboard then X > Settings > User Preferences and turn the Advance Mode to Always On
