I enabled advanced options a while ago and was able to use it with no problem. Since the update, it’s vanished. I have enabled it under X > Settings > User Preference > Advanced Mode select Always On but it is not appearing in the editor.

Thank you for writing in, I tried to replicate this on end but no luck. Please do the following.
- Please clear all caching plugins/features the site might have
- Make sure X and Cornerstone are on the latest version. Please refer here for the latest versions.
- Do a Testing for Plugin Conflict it is possible that one of your plugins is causing the issue.
If the issue persists, please provide us login credentials on a “Secure Note” so we can take a closer look.

Hi, and thanks for your reply! I think the issue was that I was using the ‘classic text’ element, which doesn’t seem to have an advanced options field!

Yes, that is true, Classic Elements has no Advanced Options.
Can you confirm that you don’t have an issue with Advanced Options on standard elements (not classic elements)?
