Advanced Mode Toggle and Settings Missing

Hi guys,

Did you remove advanced mode from Pro theme?

In Cornerstone -> Settings -> User Preferences, there is no option for advanced mode at all. See screenshot.

Additionally, when working in Cornerstone, Which I go to preferences there is no option to select it either.

Both have been true even when I use just the base parent theme and all plugins are inactive.

Running PHP 7.3 and Pro 5.0.8 (current version) and WP 5.8 (also current). I’m not seeing any issues at all on my site, this feature is just inexplicably missing.

Note that I tested this on another completely unrelated site. It had been running Pro 4.3.3 and the feature was there and worked perfectly. Then I updated to 5.0.8 and it stopped working completely, just like on this site.

This seems very much like either a bug to me, or you’ve just removed the feature.

Hmmmm interesting. So what exactly does “Improved control organization” mean?

Just that the “advanced” sections now have accordion sections and are thus hidden by default?

Yes, you are right! The improve control organization is the accordion section with full of settings. On the other hand, it is shown by default and there’s no option to hide it like the previous version.
