Advanced Mode is missing

Hey.
We need help.

After updating the plugin (Cornerstone) we have a problem with Advanced Mode. We can’t change it because is missing and won’t upload. Before that, we didn’t have the problem and it was working just fine.

We try to deactivate all plugins but that didn’t fix the problem.

Hi Amela,

Thanks for reaching out.
There might be some different reasons behind your reason, I would like to suggest troubleshoot the following common issue to help us to recognize the reason.

1.Plugin Conflict
2.CSS/JS Customization
3.Disabling Cache
4.Disabling CDN

If you discover that an issue is coming from a custom code or 3rd party plugin, kindly consult with a developer or contact the plugin author. Please note that we do not provide support for custom codes and 3rd party plugins.
If none of the above helps, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

Thanks

Hey Amela,

The best thing for you right is to revert your site from a backup to be able to continue on working on your site. Your web host can help you with this.

Then, you copy your live site to staging site and give us the same WordPress Admin access and also provide us with staging FTP credentials. Your web host can, again, help you with this.

We’ll check the staging site for what server setting is causing the issue.

Thanks.

Hey Amela,

The FTP access is not working (see secure note). Please have your web host fix that first.

Hi Amela,

I was able to connect in the FTP but the credentials you provided cannot access the root directory. Please give us credentials that can access all levels.

Hope that helps.

Thank you.

Hello Amela,

Can you please make sure that everything is up to date? There are several plugins that are outdated and it is causing an issue. When loading the Cornerstone preferences, there are JS errors in the console which may have been caused by a plugin. Can we also temporarily put your site under construction mode and deactivate/active the plugins one at a time to look for a conflict? We need your permission.

Kindly let us know. Thanks.

Hi Amela,

This ticket got open for some reason, but you said on your secure note “After moving to another server the plugin is working normally…we don’t have a problem anymore.”, can you confirm that this issue has been resolved?

Thanks,
