I’ve been trying to get the Adsense to verify the site but having problem achieving this.
Firstly, I put the code using a Wordpress plugin to insert the codes into the Head. When viewed the source codes, the script is there. However, the Adsense kept sending emails saying it’s not done.
So, I abandoned that method and put the codes directly into the global _header.php. Again, the source codes showed the script but Adsense never verified the site.
So, I abandoned that method and went onto putting the script into the functions.php in the Child Theme. Now waiting to see whether Adsense picks it up.
My question is this. What is the best recommended method to get the Adsense codes verified? When we had done Adsense codes verification process in other themes, we just had to put the codes right into the header.php template and the site gets verified within a day or two of getting it done. However, in Xtheme, adsense have problems. What is the successful method other people are using to achieve the verification in Xtheme?
