Admin Dashboard issues

I have an issue where my admin dashboard is not being styled.
I have tried all the other advice i.e. plugin conflict, memory size, etc.
The site has an up to date xTheme and Child theme, and is hosted on a VPS with WHM/Cpanel
I can see from interrogating the site with Browser tools and console that it points towards Strict MIME and Jquery issues but I am unsure how to fix it.
The site is working fine apart from some widget loss which is not working in the Dashboard in its current state

Hello @lenchappell,

It seems that there is an issue with the JS console error. It might be the issue of plugin conflict, I would suggest you use FTP or Cpanel and then go to the wp-content directory and rename the plugins folder.

I would also suggest you please have a look at this article

If it doesn’t work for you please share your FTP details so that we can check it again.

Thanks

Okay thanks I have gone through it all but will use the link and take another look.

You’re welcome.

Hello @lenchappell,

I have logged in and I found these errors:
Refused to apply style from 'https://www.forcesonline.org.uk/wp-admin/load-styles.php?c=0&dir=ltr&load%5Bchunk_0%5D=dashicons,admin-bar,site-health,common,forms,admin-menu,dashboard,list-tables,edit,revisions,media,themes,about,nav-menus,wp-poi&load%5Bchunk_1%5D=nter,widgets,site-icon,l10n,buttons,wp-auth-check,wp-color-picker&ver=5.9.2' because its MIME type ('text/html') is not a supported stylesheet MIME type, and strict MIME checking is enabled.

GET https://www.forcesonline.org.uk/wp-admin/load-scripts.php?c=0&load%5Bchunk_0%5D=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,utils,regenerator-runtime,wp-polyfill,wp-hooks&ver=5.9.2 net::ERR_ABORTED 404 (Not Found)

You are getting this errors because of your server configuration. Perhaps you can check on these articles:

You may need to contact your hosting provider for further assistance as this is not a theme related concern. Your hosting provider should be able to help you resolve this issue.

Best Regards.

Your advice was sound, however today I used https://www.wpfixit.com to help and for a small charge they resolved the issue which was in the config.php file within two hours.

Hi @lenchappell,

Glad to know that the issue is resolved now.

Thanks
