I imported the Ethos photography stack from https://demo.theme.co/ethos-photography/ How do I reduce the section height? For instance, I want to adjust the height of the My Work section with the green picture because it’s too tall. Do I need to use custom CSS? I cant find any simple way to do this in cornerstone like in Elementor or Fusion Builder, you can just drag and adjust heights.
Hello @Avantscape,
Thanks for writing in! The height of the section is dependent on the total height of the column. The “My Work” section’s height is coming from the height of the column and the padding of 18%
which was added to the section. Select the “My Work” section and find the padding option. You can increase or reduce the top and bottom padding in the section element settings:
Hope this helps. Kindly let us know how it goes.
I set up my demo on https://demo.jrprosllc.com/ using this stack and adjusted the padding both on the text element and the section. I was able to reduce the section heights on the Desktop version using negative em values but on the mobile, the text has gone out of the sections, into the sections above it and the layout is broken.
Hi @Avantscape,
You don’t need to have a negative em values on your section because as you can see in your mobile it affects the responsiveness and layout. I suggest that you will use percent or px to adjust the padding.
Hope that helps.
Thank you.
