Adjusting Default Page Settings

Hello,

I’m trying to find a way to adjust the default Page Settings when adding new pages.

I want to change the default Disable Page Title setting to have it checked/On so that page titles are disabled by default.

I want to set Background Image(s) Fade to 0 by default so I don’t have to adjust it every time either.

I still want to be able to set a background image and potentially enable the page title on some pages by changing those values in the Page Settings section while editing a page.

Also, when going to Page Settings from within Pro there is no option to select an image for the Background Image(s) setting like there is in the dashboard down below when editing a page, it just shows the input box.

Thanks for writing in! Regretfully this isn’t a feature offered by X/Pro. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.

OK, thanks. I thought I might just be missing it since it seemed like something that should already be in there. I’ll just have a look at the code and find a nice way to do it :smiley:

It would be really great though if the background image selection was possible on the Page Settings within Pro too rather than only within the WP admin/dashboard.

Yes, it could be adjusted within the Pro Page Setiings.

Yeah but it doesn’t have a button to select an image from the media manager like it does when out in the wp-admin area in the meta boxes when editing the page there.

Hello There,

Yes it does not. You will have to copy the image url from the media gallery and paste it in the field. There is already a standing feature request to replace the filed with a media button for this option.
