Adjust bodyfont in childthem X: Ethos by using typography and fontmanager

I’ve the same problem as @kerridawn but are unable to repley on her post. Thanks to her topic I figured out to adjust typography and also ‘bodyfont’ Fontmanager but still nothing has changed.
I use childtheme X.

Thanks for providing the access. I have checked your site and I found out that you are using an outdated and not compatible X theme and Cornerstone version. Could you please update to the latest versions?
Our latest versions are:
- X theme 6.1.3
- Cornerstone 3.1.3

This latest release contains fixes for several issues so be sure to check out the changelog (http://theme.co/changelog/).

After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches (if you are using WP Rocket, WP SuperCache or W3 Total Cache) when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

Ok now I’m a little lost I updated the latest versions. Now I think I’ve to use: X-theme, options, fonts, fontmanager. Am I right? Will the change be effective in Theme X or in child Theme X?

Hi @epbuw

As you are activating the child theme then it’s recommended to adjust all the settings with child theme activated no need to revert back to the parent theme.
I’ve checked your website and I can see you have adjusted the fonts in the fonts manager, so you need to just change the font settings in (Theme Options > Typography) from “inherit” to any other font you defined in the font manager like “body copy” or “lato” and it will work fine.
