Addon - Modern Calendar showing Military Time

Hey there, I installed the Add On Modern Calendar and LOVE IT. However I noticed in the Single Event page that it is showing local time as “military time”. I tried to reach out to their support but I’m not able to because it’s bundled with the theme. Times everywhere else on the events are correct.

Here’s what it looks like:

Any chance that’s fixed in newer versions of the plugin (I noticed it’s out of date) and that the update will get pushed to License holders? Or can you point me in the right direction to edit this?

Hey @mattmintun,

Thanks for writing in and glad you liked the Modern Events Calendar plugin. You can change the time format in WP Admin Menu > M.E. Calendar > Settings > General Options > Time Format.

Hey! That’s how I have it set, which is why I’m confused! All the other times are set correctly except that one.

PS. I changed the title of the post, I noticed my last pass changed the post title to my username (whoops!)

Hello There,

Thanks for providing the information. I have investigated and I can confirm that this is a bug in the latest release. You are using local time settings and this local time is hard coded settings which means that it does not follow the time settings you have in Wordpress Settings or in MEC settings.

I’ve submitted this to our issue tracker so the developers will be made aware of it.
