Adding Text to a Image Layer in Slider Revolution

Hi There

Is there a possibility to add text to a image layer in Slider Revolution, so i could create a Portfolio Slide with different Thumbnail images as links to categories. Hovering over the Thumbnail images should fade in the title of the category.

I am using the Photography Front Page Template from ThemePunch. There is a Portfolio Slide, but i couldn’t find a solution to add text to the image-slots.

Thanks for the Link with the Tutorial. Sorry, maybe i didn’t explain my problem very well. I have a Portfolio slide in Slider Revolution with one full screen background image and 6 smaller image layers on top, which are showing pictures of different categories.

These are the links to my categories. On hover i would like to fade in a white text over the Image so it tells you, which category it is. The Template already fades out the image on hover but i would like to overlay some text over each Image on hover.

Any idea?
