Adding sidebars

Hello,

I have a boxed layout that starts below my rev slider. How would i go about adding sidebars to certain pages? I would like them to show advertisements, posts with the thumbnail, and related content. I would also like for them to show on the sides of my content outside of the “box”. Is this possible? Thank you!

You can create a custom sidebar under Appearance > Sidebar and make necessary page assingments. After that open Pages > All pages > Click Edit. Under Page Attributes > Template and Select layout that has sidebar. Once that is done under Appearance > Widgets you can add widgets to the custom sidebar.
