Adding Sidebar Not Working

Tried to set up the first sidebar via Appearance ->Sidebars, however the following error message is displayed-

Warning: array_key_exists() expects parameter 2 to be array, boolean given in /home/…/public_html/…/wp-content/themes/x/framework/functions/global/admin/sidebars.php on line 378

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/…/public_html/…/wp-content/themes/x/framework/functions/global/admin/sidebars.php:378) in /home/…/public_html/…/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1210

I’m having the same problem. Could you please share how you fixed the problem?

Thanks!

Hi,

Thanks

It was a completely silly oversight on my part. In the box “Add a new sidebar” you first need to enter the name you want to give the sidebar before hitting “Add Sidebar”. Due to this mistake, my site was not working properly. Only once I set up a new sidebar and deleted it again, did everything work normal again.
