Adding shortcode from Evergreen Countdown Timer to Cornerstone

Hi there!

I am really struggling to figure out how to add a shortcode from Evergreen Countdown Timer (WP plugin) to my landing page I am creating with Cornerstone.

I have tried add the shortcode [ec id=“1”] with a text box and with a content area and neither seems to be working. Am I doing this right?

Page I am working on is: https://lunchwithleah.com/180-lunchbox-notes-jokes-printable-download-offer/

The timer is supposed to be showing after the first button “Yes, I want my copy”

Thanks!
Leah

Hi Leah,

Thank you for writing in, your site seems to be having a JavaScript issue (https://prnt.sc/lflz98). It could be a conflict between plugins to plugins or plugins to custom script.

Please do a testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third-party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

But before you do that, I notice that you’re using WP Fastest Cache, please clear your caching plugins and any optimizer plugins first and see if that resolves the issue.

If none of that works, please contact the plugin author as we cannot provide support for third-party plugins.

Cheers!

I cleared all caches, problem still persists.

Deactivated all plugins, then reactivated only the Evergreen Countdown timer plugin, still didn’t work.

I only have basic knowledge of web page building so the screen shot you sent me I can’t understand.

Is there anyway you can direct me to some sort of countdown timer that WILL work with X theme?

Hi again,

You can check out T(-) Countdown plugin, I tested the plugin with X and it works as expected. You can check out it’s documentation and usage here https://plugins.twinpictures.de/plugins/t-minus-countdown/documentation/

But please note that we cannot provide support for third party plugins or scripts as our support policy states due to the fact that there is simply no way to account for all of the potential variables at play when using another developer’s plugin or script. Because of this, any questions you have regarding setup, integration, or troubleshooting any piece of functionality that is not native to X will need to be directed to the original developer.

Thank you for your understanding!

Thank you for the suggestion. I looked into other plugins and T(-) Countdown timer looks difficult for a non-techy person like myself.

For anyone else reading this thread and who is a non-coder like me, I started using “HurryTimer” plugin and so far it’s working great.

Great News.
It’s nice to know that you have found a plugin that fits right for your needs.
