Adding Pardot Tracking Code

Hi there! I need to add the tracking code below to the page that contains this form: http://new.clearedge3d.com/info/procore-verity-landing-page/

The instructions in Pardot say: Copy and paste this Javascript code right before the close body tag on your HTML pages.

I’ll post the code privately in a moment.

So where exactly do I access the “close body tag” for a particular page? Do I just paste the code into the Java Script window for the page? somewhere else? PLMK? Thank you!

NOTE: Something is going wrong with the core iFrame code for the form itself. I dropped the following code into a Pro Text Element, and it was there at first, but after I tested the form once, it disappeared and I can’t figure out how to get the form itself to appear (and stay there). Here’s the iframe code that “was” working:

<iframe src="https://info.clearedge3d.com/l/311571/2018-09-17/8fbp6" width="100%" height="500" type="text/html" frameborder="0" allowTransparency="true" style="border: 0"></iframe>

Can you help me figure out why I can’t even get the form to appear? Maybe because it’s missing the JS? PLMK - thanks. I’ll send you a private message with a login.

Hi,

Please install this third party plugin.

Then add your Java Script code in Scripts in Footer

With regards to your form, it could be saving cookies and knows if you already have Requested a demo.
It is not showing to prevent users to request again. Though I am not sure about this as this is a third party script.
You need to consult this with the third party script developer.

Thanks

Hi! So I see in the set-up that it’s just the one spot to place the tracking code. We’re going to have multiple landing pages with different Pardot forms, each with their own unique tracking codes.

How do I add each script on ONLY on specific pages?

Also, I’m having a problem with PRO and how it’s handling the Pardot iFrames. I’m using a Text Element (I’ve tried both PRO and the older version) to insert the iframe. Inserting it is easy. Getting back into the text element to make edits/changes is impossible - video diary here: https://screencast.com/t/7ybEXS9OQ7J

I look forward to your help - Thanks!

Hi there,

If you want to add a different header and footer script for every page, you might want to use this plugin instead:

Please note that since this is a third party plugin, we could not provide further support for it.

As for the iframe codes, try adding it to a Raw Content element instead.

Hope this helps.

Ok, great - I’ll look into the plugin and try the Raw content element. I’ll circle back if any other issues arise. Thanks again!

You’re welcome!
