Adding image rollover effect on shop & product category pages

Hi

I am looking to add an image rollover effect on my shop and product categories so that when a customer hovers over the product it switches to the next image in the product gallery.

I have tried what CSS suggestions I can find in the forum but can’t find something that works. Could you advise?

Also is it possible to get the change of image but it not to affect the add to cart button or the review stars popping up? Ideally it would be good for all three to pop up on hover
