This is in reference to this post: Add custom icons
I am a developer and wish to accomplish this, however I do not see any mention in your documentation regarding hooks for the icon library. I figured it would be best to ask here before digging around through the theme code.

Thanks for posting in! At the moment, it is not possible to add custom icons. Hooks may not be present to be able to successfully add custom icons in the theme right now. We already have added this as a feature request already considering that this is a good addition to the theme.
