Adding an external link (instagram) on footer

Hi,

I’m trying to add the instagram link to a button on the footer.

This may be simple for many but bare with me, not a coder here.

I have tested writing the external link in different places related to Instagram and external links as showed in the the two screen shots below.

The link is link : www.instagram.com/virtualmenu.site but when I click on the button it links to the following URL. www.mywebsite.com/www.instagram.com/virtualmenu.site.

Thanks for writing to us.

It seems that you have not added the URL in the correct format, I would suggest you use the please insert your Instagram URL with HTTPS so your correct URL would be like this. https://www.instagram.com/virtualmenu.site/
