Adding a section above the nav bar

The option to add a Slider Revolution slider above the masthead is nice. But I would rather have a Section placed above the masthead. Is there a way to ensure that a Section that I’ve created on a page gets placed above the masthead, just like the Slider Revolution option? I’ve tried “position: absolute”, but the section simply disappears. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

I would like to suggest you to use the Pro Header Builder to achieve what you are expecting.
You can add a bar above the bar containing the Menu or Slider Revolutuion.

That is a solution. I should have mentioned though, I don’t want the Section to be above the Nav on every page. Just the home page. I would have to duplicate the header and use two different headers on different pages. I’d rather not have duplicate Navs.
