Adding a Favicon / Blank Customizer

The Customizer (Dashboard>>Appearance>>Customizer) gives a blank page. The name of the site is in the left sidebar but the rest is blank. The Theme Options (Dashboard>>X>>Theme Options) shows many of the options that used to be in the Customizer. However, I cannot find where to enter the path for the favicon ico in the Theme Options section.

So the two questions are:

1. Where do I add the path for the favicon ico?
2. Does the Customizer under Appearance no longer work? Are we only supposed to use Theme Options found under X in the sidebar?

Ps. I am using a child theme but that does not seem to be the problem. I did some testing. Plus this is occurring on both my X Theme sites.

Thanks for reaching out.
The favicon can be added only from the Appearance > Customize > Site Identity, if that page is not coming up, there might some different reasons for it. I would suggest you troubleshoot the following issues on it.

1. Updated X theme and Cornerstone page builder. There is still the older version of the theme and Cornerstone is installed in one of the listed sites at your Themeco Account dashboard.

2.Plugin Conflict testing.

If the above steps do not help, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.
