Add to cart direct link does not work

Hi,

I’m using this plugin: https://nl.wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-direct-checkout/.

And I’m using theme x PRO.

I have the latest versions of both.

I have created a normal WordPress page and I have created a manual button on that page. And via that button I’m linking to the checkout page. I’m using this URL: https://www.puppygroep.nl/?add-to-cart=8565.

Most cases it does work. I do get lots of orders through that button.

But sometimes it does not work. Just a sec ago I received a phonecall of a customer who was trying to place an order but it didn’t work. She got redirected to the homepage instead of the checkout page.

I have asked the plugin author and he says this:

this issue is related to your theme

http://yoursite.com/?add-to-cart=xx should work with or without woocommerce direct checkout activated

you should contact your theme developers

I couldn’t replicate this issue on my end. After clicked the add to cart button, it redirected me the checkout page:

Can you please try switching the Twenty Nineteen theme to check if the issue persists?

Regretfully, we cannot provide support for third party plugins or scripts as our support policy in the sidebar states due to the fact that there is simply no way to account for all of the potential variables at play when using another developer’s plugin or script. Because of this, any questions you have regarding setup, integration, or troubleshooting any piece of functionality that is not native to X/Pro theme will need to be directed to the original developer.
